About Dave
Dave has had over 20+ years of experience in the motorcycle tyre industry. His knowledge and workmanship is second to none. Dave will invite you to join in his workshop and include you in the whole experience. No sitting in a boring lounge waiting for your pride and joy. Dave is an avid road rider and enjoys getting out in his spare time on his 2020 Harley Davidson Street Glide. Dave's garage also houses a 2021 KTM SMR450 which is currently parked up as he focuses his attention on drag racing with a 2012 Kawasaki ZX14-R! His wife, Kirsten is also taking to the drag strip on a 2006 Kawasaki ZX10-R. There's sure to be many Mr vs Mrs face offs on track!
Dave was also the proud owner of a 2007 VDB550 Aprilia Supermoto Race Machine. This bike has since moved onto a new owner in 2023. On this machine Dave won multiple State Supermoto Titles and came home in 2013 the Port Nelson (New Zealand) S1 Supermoto Street Race Champion.
Dave has also raced speedway sidecars for over 20 years and enjoyed success in 2005 when he & his team mate became the QLD Speedway Sidecar Champions. Dave retired in 2016 due to a nasty injury whilst racing in Bundaberg. Prior to this accident, Dave was also competitive in the local competition racing Motocross at the Kilcoy club.

At Dave Oliver's Motorcycle Tyres we don't just do tyres. We can also look after your chain and sprocket needs, brake pads and we stock a variety of accessories including an extensive range of Motorex & IPONE oil products, brake pads, chains, oil filters, tyre pressure gauges, repair kits etc.
It doesn't matter what you ride. We have tyres to cater for everything. Cruisers, sportsbikes, dirt/offroad (for the big and little kids). We also offer race slick sales & fitting to get your bike ready for your next track/race day. Yes! We also do tyres for scooters and quads!
We have all the right tools for the job (in metric and imperial) and 2 brand new, up to date tyre machines. Our workshop is like nothing you've ever seen before, setting a whole new standard of what a workshop "should" be". We'd love you to come and check it out (and please tell your friends!).
